• I got these two drills around the same time, the cheap brand because I needed a drill, and the more expensive one because I needed a drill right now in a town with no discount hardware stores. Then I had cause to use both of them alternately in building a fence. The cheaper one is better overall.

• Every brand has its own battery style and charger interface. None work with each other, and every few years they change. People maybe don’t appreciate how nice it is that an electric cord can be plugged into any wall socket installed anywhere in the country in the past hundred years.
